gila. minggu kemaren jadwal gue kayak pantat. bener-bener bikin pusing. selasa sampe jumat ngajar kelas creative writing di SMA santa ursula BSD, abis itu sabtunya talkshow di pesta buku jakarta, abis itu minggunya ngisi materi sharing ttg dunia penulisan di wahid institute. satu hal yang bisa gue sebut untuk menggambarkan seluruh pengalaman tersebut: MUNTAH DARAH.
minggu ini juga gak jauh beda sih,
untungnya kuliah lagi libur.
kemaren meeting terakhir draft film kambingjantan. so far so good, gue suka banget ama endingnya. dan setuhan mas aris (salman aristo) sebagai head scriptwriter ngebuat tuh film jadi berasa comedic banget, lucu yang bego tapi anehnya berasa cerdas juga.
sampai saat ini sih belom ada casting. option pertama untuk jadi pemeran utamanya kayaknya sih gue (memainkan diri gue sendiri, meheheh). tapi salah satu produsernya, mbak tyas, sempet bilang gini ke gue beberapa minggu lalu: “iya dik, kalau kamu jadi pemeran utama.. kamu kan gak terkenal dan jelek, nah pemeran sisanya harus artis semua buat ngimbangin kamu!” gue gak tau mesti bangga atau menunduk lemas!
meeting terakhir kita running through dengan draft skenario sebanyak 87 halaman. alhasil, meeting yang dimulai jam 7 malem akhirnya baru selesai jam 1 pagi, dengan gue yang end up nyetir sambil mencong-mencong.

ada penulis yang bilang ketakutan seorang penulis ketika mengeluarkan karya berikutnya adalah fear of rejection. kayaknya, ini yang gue rasain dengan buku ketiga gue. sampai saat ini gue belom ngasih ke gagas, walaupun naskahnya emang udah jadi. masih gue baca ulang berulang berulang berulang kali. gue baca sambil melakukan perubahan-perubahan kecil, pengen aja biar naskahnya bener-bener lucu dan bagus.

kalau naskah novelnya biasanya sampai belasan kali draft.
